I'm feeling good this morning. It was the first weekend in a long time my weight did not go up for a temporary gain. Usually I am 1-2 lbs heavier after the weekend and I have to work to get it down again and then lower for my weigh in. This morning I am at 146 still, so this is good news. My goal weight by the end of the month, or by May 1st which is my weigh in day is 145. This should be feasable. I will hit the gym today and am so glad to as I had to miss all of last week. We did the brain tumor walk along Lake Michigan on Sunday for 3 miles which was very windy and fairly cold, but good. I easily ate 1/2 my hamburger and took the other half home and a few fries at my favorite hamburger place yesterday afternoon. I'm back to eating consciously as I had sped up a bit lately again. It is such a wise tip and really does work when you slow down and pay attention to your food! Hope you all work hard, eat consciously, and find joy in each day this week!

Yay for the no-gain weekend! There must be something in the air because the same is true for me for the first time in a very long time. I think your goal to lose one more pound by the end of the month is definitely doable. Way to go with keeping up the conscious eating! You have a wonderful week, too!
