I'm starting my holiday baking today; I'll be making some cranberry orange muffins (with FS recipe) and some cookies, not diet ones. Praline Charlottes and some chocolate coconut ones; I'll eat one of each and leave the rest with family and friends. We're also taking a cherry pie, but we ordered that from Tebo's ; I'm not good at pie baking.


I love baking cookies, had a hard time choosing just a couple recipes. I may mix up dough for more and keep in refrigerator, then bake an assortment Thursday morning. I can take extras to my apartment building and give cookie plates to my neighbors, or donate to Table Talk, an inexpensive coffee and goodies group they have. They use the proceeds to organize outings or parties for residents. Hmmm, I haven't noticed if we're having a holiday dinner this year; I could bake up a storm and donate everything. That way I could get the joy of baking without keeping temptation around.

I'm sore from my two Zumba classes yesterday, am having a hard time getting moving. A nice warm shower is in order! Up, girl, up!
