It is so cold right now; this morning it felt like -12 degrees. I realize that some of my FS friends are experiencing colder than that, but this Southern girl is COLD. I actually closed off my office (coldest room in the house) and moved my monitor and laptop to the dining room for now. That actually increased the temperature in the house by 6 degrees...crazy! My scale is in my bathroom...which is in my office...so no weigh-in right now. I feel like I had more nuts than was probably good (on Saturday) but despite where we were I stayed the course. Yesterday we were also out and about and I stayed the course. So feeling good about that. Actually got up (Saturday and Sunday) and got in some treadmill time.

This week I am going to try to keep the dairy and nuts to bare minimum (if anything). Getting my gym time in and treadmill, also. Got my plan for the week and pretty much know what I am going to have for dinner this week too. Lunches I am not too worried about...a salad or can or tuna, if I need it and that is great for me.

The menopause...overall I feel great. I feel better than I have in a long time....longer than I really can remember. I have read that the exercise should help with the hot flashes, and maybe it is. I have had some good sleep at night. Don't get me wrong...I still have them, but maybe one or two and my body is handling them better. The peppermint oil is probably helping, too...at least it certainly seems to. I get them in the day, some, but nothing that is so unbearable that I cannot function.

So here is to another great week. Be kind to yourselves and to your body!

I echo your situation... Texas gal here... it's so freaking cold I debated whether to eat the hot soup at lunch or pour it on my body. Would like a second bowl to soak my feet!

LOL, yes, Bella!! It's the feet that seem to be the coldest and it doesn't matter how many pairs of socks I put on!
