Today is a new day with a much better start! I have gotten the rest of the family involved and committed to eating low-carb as long as I cook and keep things easily accessible which I can do with little problem.
This morning we had omelets with sauteed mushroom and onion, a turkey sausage patty and a slice of tomato. Everyone (including my toddler) left the table full and satisfied. Although it's a cold and dreary day, we went on a 1 mile family walk. I think this is great for my toddler as he is tired and ready for a nap when we come back inside!! I haven't quite decided on lunch and supper but I have plenty of time to get things together. I am also going to cook breakfast and lunch to take with me to work tomorrow since I have to get up at 5 and usually end up just grabbing a frozen waffle or toast which are not diet friendly foods!

I think that's an awesome plan!! And it's great that your family is involved, too :) Yay for you!! A great breakfast meal to take to work with you are the Sausage and Egg Muffins. They're so easy to make and the recipe makes plenty. Plus, they're delicious and really filling. You can add pretty much anything to them, if you want, like mushrooms, peppers, cheese, etc. When I make them, my family eats most of them lol. You can find the recipe in the Recipe section. Just search for "sausage egg muffins". It should be the first one in the list of results. Again, hooray for you!! :D
