Only two people -- including me -- attended Bootcamp at Aldine MS yesterday. Angel took a look at me and Megan and said, "I'm gonna have one more session here on Thursday, then after that, do you guys have a problem with coming to Dunn on Mondays and Wednesdays?" Of course we said, "No, we don't have a problem with that." We have a problem being the only two people because that means MORE ATTENTION FROM ANGEL lol It's better to disperse her attention among 12 or more people, believe me.

There was another PE teacher at the gym, and she was talking to her about me and told me so. I just grinned. I'm sure she was telling her about how I was my first day at Bootcamp: again, how I showed up wearing TWO t-shirts (which wasn't true), long black pants, a hat, and these huge knee braces. And now look at me, minus the stupid knee braces, wearing my bike shorts, and minus the hat and the glasses. She asked me where my hat was. I said I washed them and forgot them.

Towards the end of our session, I started running out of enthusiasm for my running, and I tried to walk. TRIED. Angel announced, "Well, Megan, we're going to add another minute to our five minutes because Joanne here decided to walk." Then she started running with me and asked, "Hey, how about if we run these last two laps?" I retorted, "Hey, how about we didn't?" But I ran because I felt bad that Megan had to be punished because the mean personal trainer just had to be... mean.

I know I'm a real brat with Angel. Most of the time I see her chuckling with the stupid stuff I say, but she pretends she's mad because she has to play the evil personal trainer role. Yesterday, she said, "Let's pretend to be bananas," which meant we were to lie on our sides, on our hips, upper and lower body parts off the floor. I said, "WOW! I DIDN'T KNOW BANANAS SUFFERED SO MUCH."

And she thinks I JUST ACT like I can't do certain things, like when we're trying to do squats and my right knee gives. I could be OWing and groaning from the strain on my knee, and do you think she babies me? No, she gets in my face and says, "AW, you're just ACTING again. You better do it, or else I'm going to bring a whip and whip those calves." I just looked at her like, YOU'RE GOING TO WHIP MY CALVES??? How evil. Does she not realize that of all my body parts, my legs have been the strongest? I know because I stare at my legs while I'm on the stair stepper, and I'm fascinated with the new cuts in my muscles. I even have more pronounced muscles in my shins LOL And she's going to whip my calves??? Hah!

We were doing our stretches, and she gave that speech again about the weight gloves being "necessary" for Saturday Bootcamps. She's obsessed with us bringing weight gloves because she fantasizes that we will no longer need our mats to do push-ups -- just the damn gloves. She said, "If everyone had weight gloves, we'd be able to do MORE." She caught me shaking my head at Megan and mouthing the words DON'T BRING THEM, and she gave me the evil look again and did a fake laugh. I've had my weight gloves since April. I hide them from her so she won't make us do so many push-ups, but I think she's catching onto me.

I realized something yesterday, though... I think I'm getting a bit better at running for longer periods of time -- not much, but longer than before. The BAD part is, Angel sees it too. That means... "WE CAN DO MORE!!!" LOL WHYYYYYYYYY LOL
