It's Tuesday and we got a little rain last night!

That's the first since we got the tail end of Isaac. Unfortunately, it just seems to have been enough to make it very humid. LOL!

The Biggest Loser, Holiday Edition started last night. I realized that I hit 50 lbs down in January 2011, and I haven't budged an ounce since. OUCH! Of course, I haven't gained it back either, so I'm doing something right this time. I lost that first 50 by dropping gluten. I've been fudging for almost two years now. I'm going to have to actually start calorie restriction if I want to lose the other 100.

As I've been cutting down the brush, I've gotten access to the wild grapes. There was a bumper crop this year. Apparently, they LIKE the drought. I've never had wild grapes before. Anyway, They're tiny. I've been stemming them and have about 6 quarts. I'm going to try to make wild grape jelly. They're delicious, just too tiny to get a mouthful, but they should make great jelly.

If my scale is correct, and I have no reason to believe it isn't. It matched the Dr.'s scale two weeks ago when I went in. I've lost 5 lbs since last Thursday's weigh in. I hope it still says that when I weigh in this Thurs. I've really been trying this week (except for last night when my salty cravings got the best of me and I ate an entire can of potato sticks. OUCH!) However, as bad as that was nutritionally, I didn't eat dinner and snacks, so it wasn't a total bust. Every day is a fresh start, so I'm back on track today.

I'm off to stem the rest of the grapes, so I can cook them up. See you all later.

Waking up!
Little granddaughters who THINK they're helping me stem grapes. (More went into their mouths than the pot. LOL!)
The brush slowly, but surely, disappearing from the property.
Fatsecret and my buddies here, without whom I would be back up to my original weight!
Another beautiful day and the rain we got overnight.

Happy Tuesday to you Bonnie..Congrats on the loss..I know how hard it is to get the weight off and keep it off...Have a good time picking those grapes...:O)

LOL! It's more like "annoying" time picking those grapes. Do you know how many miniscule grapes it takes to make 6 quarts? MILLIONS!!! LOL!!! I'm hoping the loss is real. I won't know until I weigh in, officially, on Thursday. Hugs!!!

Bonnie, I was going to say that you have the patience of a saint trying to pick all the tiny grapes.... LOL! Wondering if you will pick them all or finally say... Pooey on the rest? I think those little grapes have caused you to lose some weight! Hee Hee! At least you are getting the brush all cleared up. You will have a new garden area this spring. Yahoo!
