How to explain my weight gain while keeping my intake on target? I suspect when I was losing weight so fast earlier I was actually losing muscle mass, because when I took a bodyfat reading it was up at that point from the previous reading. Now, only a few days after hitting the protein, my bodyfat appears to be going down. Is my body using the increased protein to replace the muscle I may have lost? I wonder. I'm totally feeling and looking more muscular.
I managed to eat 99 grams of protein and only ~800 calories today. In the long run this could get boring. But it would be nice to see the trend starting downward again. I'd like to be a size 12 by the mid-October, but I'd really like to be a 10 by mid-November.
