I didn't eat very well today, but not too horrible either. I stayed under my calories for the day though. Here's a pic of our dog, Dakota, since now I feel like sharing pet pics :) Will post cat pics another time. He likes to go on walks with me and gets excited when he sees my tennis shoes, but he can't do the long walks since he is getting older now.

Dakota is beautiful! I know about the older dog and walking. We lost our Lab just this past May. He was 12. He loved to walk, too, but just couldn't do it anymore...one reason (though certainly not the main one) I gained weight, actually. Poor thing, and our little Jack Russell mix misses him terribly. In fact, at first, we didn't realize just how much she had depended on him to translate everything (meaning she watched him for what to do)...she's just now really learning English, so to speak.

WOW - how did I miss this dog photo? I LOVE pets...Dakota is a popular name in my part of the country - we border North and South Dakota!

HCB - I haven't posted pet pics here before, so maybe that is why you missed it? :) He's a good dog and has been in the house a lot this past week due to the extreme heat we have had. It was 110 in the shade under our back patio last week!!
