Baby-steps, but progress in the right direction..

So, as I mentioned earlier, I now have my digital scale, and that's being helpful in tracking smaller changes...hopeflly it'll continue to be good--these digital scales seem so sensitive compared to those rough-n-tough analog ones. My workout was a little less energetic today even though I increased the time by 2 mins(elliptical 32 mins, heart rate 109-125, 1.99 M instead of 2.22 from yesterday; total cal=240). Also, I just learned about the danger in over-estimating fibers in counting points; so I'll have to be careful in counting points. Am gonna stay in the mid-point (22 in a 20-25 range), and start entering banked points daily.
I hope to get some mental work (reading/writing) done for the next few hours and then get in my 10-mins pilates dvd and 1 set of lower-body weights later in the evening. I'll post an evening update to record how I did.

Meals so far:
Brunch: 2 whole wheat toasts (2), with bean curd (2) & veggies mix, including oil (2), and fat-free feta (1). 1 veggie patty w/ 1 tsp oil (2)
Coffee with skim milk (.5)

Snack: 2 wasa crackers (1) with red pepper hummus (3)
coffee with cream (1)

Dinner:
Salad with veggies (0: spinach, tomato, cucumber, mushroom, red pepper, squash, sweet peppers, celery), red kidney beans (0.5), croutons (.5), walnuts (2.5), reduced fat feta (0.5), salad spritzer (0)
Dessert: fat free vanilla yogurt (1 cup; 2 pts), and 1 plum (1) + 1/2 walnut
Total points: 21-22 points (Banked 3 pts)

Additional evening update: wasted time at a coffee place, and then had to stop and buy groceries, come home and make dinner, and after dinner it was 8.30 pm already! So, I'm gonna have to skip any working out in the evening. Tomorrow I plan to do only 3 things: cardio & weights in the morning, pilates dvd in the evening, and lots of writing in the day. Hope I can stay focused!! I plan not to go online until evening!!!

I'm glad you are having good experiences with your new scale so far. Here's hoping that they aren't all from the same place as Damien! Looks like you're doing a great job keeping on top of the exercise and food intake. Have a wonderful day.
