Today I've hit a carb craving day. I think between just not having breads or other grains and my workouts, I want all the carbs. I've read on it and for the most part what I've seen says you'll get past the cravings. I'm just going to stick with the plan for now. If I'm just super low energy or something, I'll try some healthy grains even though it's not in the plan.

This weekend I know the Whole30 won't be stuck to completely because we're having birthday celebrations and I'm going out to eat with a couple of my friends on Friday for dinner. I'm going to do my best to stick to the plan where I can, but I'm not going to beat myself up for allowing a treat or two. I already have a plan for next week for lunches, dinners, and some snacks, so I should be able to get back on track quickly.

My birthday is on Sunday and my kids really want to do something, like make a cake, and I said we should just go for ice cream or a treat instead. Then at least if I indulge, I won't have a cake sitting around the house calling my name. I have a feeling those small indulgences will really show me how eating clean the rest of the week has made me feel better, hopefully more motivation to keep going.
