Got a good workout in this morning then I was pooped. With the kids back in school and having to take care of our dog with the bad back we've been rushing around in the morning. This morning I was drinking my smoothie while cutting up lettuce and getting my lunch ready and had to get myself ready so quickly I probably look like a mess. I guess I do this to myself. If I'd cut up my lettuce the night before and have my lunch ready to go I wouldn't have to rush, maybe one day I'll remember that.
For anyone who's followed the saga, our dog is getting better every day. He's able to walk a little on his own and is getting a little happier. My hubby still can't pick him up or touch him for some reason, the dog just snaps at him if he tries, but hopefully with time and healing that will get better.
I go to the specialist tomorrow to see about getting my voice back. It's been almost 2 months with a hoarse voice and I'm ready to have an answer. The specialist is 2 1/2 hours away, so I'll have to eat lunch on the road, and knowing me how good or bad I do will probably depend on how good or bad the appointment goes. I'm crossing my fingers that this is something that only requires speech therapy, no shots or long term disabilities.
Glad we're at mid-week! Hope all is well with everyone else!!

Happy the pupper is doing better! Now if the doc can just have some good news for you!!! I had one of those mornings myself!! God bless a cute sundress, flipflops and a ponytail... although doing my makeup (minimal as it was) while driving wasn't the smartest thing. Hope the day calms a bit! (Yeah I know, I know ;-) )
