This morning I was so happy to see that I have started to lose weight again and the ketone strip is "in the pink", woot! Just in time for me to go on vacation again. This one is just a weekend getaway but be are going to be doing a tequila tasting party on a train ride through a canyon. Fun, but perilous on the diet, especially since the tequila is accompanied by a Mexican buffet. Well, the hubby is so burned out from working that this vacation is an emergency intervention and I am not going to stress about the diet and ruin the day.
AND!! About a month ago I bought a pair of jeans in the next size down because it was on sale. This morning I decided to pull them out and see how tight they were on me yet. But, they fit me perfectly! I am down another size!
So today I am overflowing with thankfulness; for losing weight, for fitting a smaller size, for Friday, for a weekend vacation. Wow! I am blessed.

Congrats on all the wonderful news! I'm so happy for you--don't u just love getting the surprise of clothes fitting when you didn't expect it to? I think that has been one of my favorite things about this entire lifestyle change! Hope you have a wonderful weekend getaway, and definitely don't stress about eating. You've done a wonderful job so far!! :)

Oh, but not swallowing would be against my rules of tequila doctrine. I take the wasting of good tequila very seriously. And by good tequila, I don't mean that Jose Cuervo crap they try to foist off on the masses in bars here in the US.

Take a day out and don't record - just enjoy and get back on track the next day - enjoy!!!

Isn't that the greatest....when you can actually fit into smaller clothes. You still have to live your life and one day is not going to wreck everything you have done so far, I say go and enjoy.

WooHOO Hoot Hoot Hoot! I absolutely LOVE when you can wear the clothes you bought smaller as a motivation! Erin, that is so very very great! You know from past journals, I do the same thing with buying clothes down one size to use as motivation! Great work and have a wonderful train ride! It sounds fun!

SOOOOOOO happy for you! I like fajitas as my lower-cal mexi option; I just ear them with a fork instead of tortillas and have guacamole but not sour cream. Enjoy your break!
