Tired. Still having a hard time at night with the munchies. I'm home alone more often than not--it's tough!

I have been incorporating Bob Harper's *The Skinny Rules* into my low-carb lifestyle (at least the ones that I can) -- Rule #18 - GO TO BED HUNGRY - I am not sure why this helps me with night munchies but it does. I stick to the rule :)

Eating brings on the production of stomach acid to help digest the food. Often, the presence of this acid in our stomach feels like hunger. If you're going to bed without anything on your stomach, no acid in there to wake you up with night munchies. (my theory)

Late night snacking in front of the TV has always been my achille's heel. I dring TONS of flavored water to keep my stomach full but of course that means I'm floating by morning. Other than the late night bathroom visits, it seems to be working for me.

@ Miss_Red: I have been noticing that soon after I eat I feel like my tummy is rumbling for food. I know I can't really be hungery-so it must be the stomach acid. Interesting. I'll keep ignoring it.
