Pretty good week but the second half of August is going to be super challenging. Lots of time with friends and family. Food is always a focus. Don't want to be a kill-joy about the comfort food we have enjoyed together for years so my focus will be good choices when possible and small portions of treats. This will be my toughest hurdle so far - even worse than the holidays. I would like to increase my buffer a little more over the next week before the festivities begin.
Loving the cherries and grapes available lately. I'm keeping a bag of each chilled in the fridge, and grab a handful 2-3 times a day to 'take the edge off'.
Also finding coffee to be a friend. Basically, a 45 calorie afternoon snack for me. The 2TB of half & half seems to curb my hunger.
