I'm brand new to fatsecret. I have been using fitday which covered my nutrition better but this web is set up much better. So, will see how this works out. I would really like to meet others like myself who have or have had over 70 pounds to lose.

Welcome to FS. I also have an acct with fitday but haven't been using because I didnt find it user friendly. I had 80 lbs to lose, been working Atkins since January and as of this morning have lose 29 lbs. Enjoy the site. Enjoy Atkins. If you ever need anything, please ask. FS is filled with such amazing people more than willing to help you.

I had 115 lbs. to lose when I started and I have lost 30+ lbs. in the past two and a half months. Welcome and good luck!

Wow! Congrads on your progress kmartin & multiplicity. Tell me all your secrets lol! With my fibro keeping me unable to do any "real" exercise I have to depend mostly on my diet. Though as my weight comes off and the weather warms up I may be able to more than stretches and what little walking I manage right now. Using a walker really bites <smile>

Well I haven't really been an exercise person. Just when I was motivated enough I got into a car accident and have advised to stop. Basically I have lost through my way of eating alone. Do you have the Atkins book? Once you start entering your foods here and such we can always go through it and give suggestions. For me, it's a lot of trial and error. I am hoping Im doing it right now cuz Im losing again. That may stop and I might have to change it up again. But you'll get there, regardless of not being able to exercise.

Hello, RubyRedSox. Welcome. I started with 127.7 pounds to lose. I have lost 38.7 pounds so far. This is not a diet for me, but a change of life style. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask. As Keli said, there are lots of amazing people on here, all more than willing to help you in any way they can!

Hi - I started just over a week ago and thankfully found this site straight away. In fact it was because of the info. on the site that I decided to do Atkins. Everyone's really is helpful and you only need to ask and someone's there with advice or just moral support. I started needing to lose 70lb and have lost 5.6lb already so I'm fired up at the moment :)
