I did work out last night - YAY ME!! I walked on the treadmill (with hill intervals, only about 2.8-3.0mph) for 20 minutes, then did arm weights, then another 20 minutes on the treadmill. Nothing as intense as what I was doing 9 months or a year ago, but just a slow progression back to that.
While I was walking on the treadmill, it started making a weird noise, the hubby says it's something near the motor - a bearing or something... He said he'll look at the manual and see if it's something he can just lube, or if its something more difficult. If nothing else, we have the elliptical and the two bikes, so I do have other options, I just PREFER the treadmill.
I've been doing some "cheater weigh-ins" and the scale has been showing a much higher number than it did on Sunday. I'm hoping it's just because I ate a ton on Sunday, and it's still just working through my system.
I guess ultimately it doesn't matter what the scale says, because it's all about being fitter, and by working out, I'm doing it!
So my goal is to lose 1.6 pounds per week, and at that rate, I'll be back to my 245 weight of last December, by this December, and I can work in 2013 on getting to a lower, healthier weight.
Tonight & tomorrow night I have 4 hour board meetings, so that is going to be LOOONNNGGGG! But hopefully it will be somewhat entertaining... I'm new back to the board, so I will have to get back into the swing of things, and get used to the different personalities.
