So one girl at work does low calorie. One girl fasts. One girl eats "healthy" for the most but works a lot and I mean a lot with no gym. The other ones seem to work out intermittently but aren't gym intense. One girl is so outdoorsy and fun. She is a foodie but is always doing something hiking or biking. The server industry is interesting. Customers sit down and it is almost as if you become under inspection. Most decide if they like or dislike you within the first few interactions and from that point on you can decide if you are going to become "likable" enough for a tip. While your customer decides if they like what your wearing or your disposition or if you like your job. You can decide to bring waters, speak first to the wife, adjust clothing appropriately, smiling.... the list of options goes on and on. I am certainly the oldest at my work and by quite a bit. I walk around with some of the most beautiful girls and listen to insecurities fall from their lips daily. I think this industry certainly takes a toll on a human. This interests me so much however. Somehow because it is your server... they are yours to judge. I am not any different than anyone else but it has me thinking about my first impressions and how this would be difficult for someone that hates rejection as much as myself... How this plays into our jobs? We become much more obsessed with being thin. Each one of us has gone down a different path and no one is coming up completely satisfied.
