yeah my willpower took a hike for the evening too. Stressful day and I didn't eat filling foods. I pigged out on the chips and a candy bar when I got home and I'm still friggin starving. *sigh* No one ever said this journey would be an easy one! Tomorrow is another day!!!

Must be something in the air; I really Pigged out. Chocolates, ice cream, 2 little cookies, lots of healthier food. You showed remarkable restraint compared to me!

Once of my favorite recent dinners was an ice cream sunday, and it fit in my calorie plan that day. Sometimes you gotta say WTH.

LOL - I am originally from the East Coast and grew up loving Dunkin Donuts -the closest one to where I now live is about a six or seven hour drive! Thank God! So, I totally get WHY that stupid oreo donut called your name! Hang in there - just a blip on the overall picture!

Hopefully now that craving is OUT of your system, and you can continue moving onward and DOWNWARD! :) Sometimes when those cravings build up it's a much worse outcome! One donut can fit in the food budget!

Ahh dunkin donuts. Love em but they are deadly to me, there is no amount of them that would satisfy me and I am pretty good at remembering that so I don't ever have even the first one. You're 100% right - new day, find an exciting healthy dinner option and that'll keep you on track and give you something to look forward too!

Hmmmm, I didn't have any problem once I ate that Oreo cookie ice cream bar and the 2 slices of pizza - after lunch. And oh yeah, almost forgot, that french vanilla slush, when I got gas. Whoops! I'm not logging today. I'm on a sabbatical, but I'm going to start again soon.

Would like to hear about "date night." Do you & your significant other have a night out every week? Once a month? Do tell!

We do a date night every Wed. We don't have the money to go out. Plus, we don't like to leave the dog after we have been at work all day. So we usually have a nice dinner, then watch one of our movies. We have been doing a date night pretty much since we started dating. My hubby likes to have friends/family over A LOT. So we did a date night so we would have at least one day a week alone together. @DK - Get logging! LOL

I had ice cream for supper last night... ;) Naughty naughty!! Your date night sounds great! That's so awesome that you keep doing it..

LOL Erika! I probably wouldn't mind a D & D dinner if I was being good in other areas. But my exercise is slacking lately. But tonight I am promising to do Yoga Booty Body, tomorrow the house is getting an epic bath, and Sunday I WILL do something exercise-y even if it almost kills me! Now I have no way out! :-) Yeah, date night rocks! It is easier for us because we have no young children. We were so busy when we first started dating. It was the only way we could have a night alone some weeks. We were a little (just a little!) naughty because we started living together form the first date. Opps! A typical week was: Tues-my sister day, Wed-Date night, Thurs-basketball for E (Hubby), Fri-Friend night (separately), Sat thru Sun- Kid and Family Time, Sun-E had friends over, Mon-Friend night (as a couple). Our wedding Anniversary is the same as when we first started Living together/dating. So this September, 11 years together, and 9 years married. This is nothing in the scheme of things! My parents just passed 47 years married and they dated for 5 years too! How crazy is that!

52 years?? WOW! Clearly they passed down their good values to their children! Any words of advice? haha

They always say: stick it out during the rough years...It does get better. My dad was kinda a jerk when I was growing up. He mellowed after 50. LOL So she stuck it out for about 25 years....LOL

Aaaaaahhhhh! Your description of date night is so sweet. Truly. Wow! You two have lots of "people" in yor life. I guess every night is "date night" for us. We are "empty nesters" who went together in high school, practically lived together in college & have been married for 34 years. I LOVE LOVE being an empty nester. Cool to take a bath with the door open, watch separate TV's in opposite ends of the house, & eat breakfast for supper. I so understand about having a jerk for a dad during your teen years. Is jerk the same as a$$'ol? That's what wiener4"s dad could be! Oh well.

Yes, he was one of them. It was something my sis and I said to my Mom when she would complain about him. "He does that because he is a jerk." "What do you expect? He is a jerk." LOL
