I know it's frustrating but it could just be hormones or salt. You're doing fine! Just keep cruising along.

It is common to retain water when you start to exercise. "THE SCALE IS NOT THE WHOLE STORY Both weight bearing and even endurance exercise may cause tiny micro tears in your muscle fibers. The more strenuous the workout, the more trauma inflicted. Your amazing body begins to repair these tears right away and the end result are stronger muscles. One way your body defends itself against further injury after this micro trauma occurs is to surround the afflicted area with fluid. It is typical for your freshly worked muscles to look temporarily pumped up from the additional fluid surrounding them. The scale may temporarily reflect this extra water weight even though you may be working hard to lose weight. Stepping on the scale immediately after your workout is a poor way to gauge your average weight.

You're doing great. Keep up the good work. It may take a week or two to see the results you want on the scale. That does not mean you are not losing body fat and getting leaner. If you are sticking to your plan, you will see the results.

One way body builders increase their energy after a workout and reduce the muscle fatigue and turn around time on the repairs is by taking creatine.

Please don't freak out or worry. Women always fluctuate a pound or two. Remember: too high of sodium intake... water weight. PMS... water weight. Food sensitivity... water weight. I know you want all your weight off like 4 days ago, but give it time. :)

Hang in there! It takes time but you will succeed in the long run. I lost 30 pounds but it took 2 years.

Be sure not to work your same muscle back to back give that group 48 to72hrs healing time, that's if your doing free weights or machine.
