brucemcguigan's Journal, 12 December 2016

Had a good week, was hard to get the body back to eating right and not wanting to graze or binge. Been counting the crabs watching the sugars and eating a lot more healthy.

Had a nice drop, with all the snow we are getting it is hard to get out and do much outside, however there is always shoveling, that is always fun. Not!

I hope all my fat buddies have a wonderful week and they find that inner strength when they feel week and they march on through any weaknesses or set backs that they may have, and that they celibate all the hard work.

Take it easy with the shoveling Bruce. That chore can really talk a toll on the heart. I feel you about getting the cravings vs the desire to eat right. It's all about biochemistry. That's what drives our behaviour, not the other way around. I finally found freedom from the constant crave monster through www.brightlineeating.com. The neuroscientist that started the website has a short test on the site that will tell you if your brain chemistry is driving the cravings and what you can do about it. I started following the 4 simple guidelines on Halloween after a HUGE binge and I am pleased to say that I'm craving free (mostly) and down 17 lbs since that time. Check it out if you get a chance. It might be of help.
