Well, I'm hanging in there! Actually I'm ok with this number considering that at the beginning of the week it was more than 4 lbs more! My problem I think is I need to move more. I've been getting roughly 3 days of exercise on average each week throughout the summer and very little farm exercise on the weekends. I guess that happens when your 82 year old dad keeps saying he can't do it anymore and there are only 3 cows on the place that require very little attention thru the summer. So, I need to do something physical on the weekends now. And I haven't figured that one out yet! I do know one thing though, and that's is there will be lots of birthday cake this month! Starting this weekend with my brother-in-law's 50th, then next weekend is my friend's son's 1st birthday, followed by our anniversary, then my friend at work, it's her birthday on the 24th plus our boss' b-day is on the 29th. So, I need to up the movement!

Anyway, off for a run now. Birthday party tomorrow and we may go to the fair on Sunday.

Good luck on all those birthday challenges. I succumbed to a late summer carb-attack and OD'd on berries, peaches, corn (all high-carb goodies that I love). This morning, following a 6-pound gain (in less than 10 days...we had a spell of rain, so couldn't walk it off either), in any case, it's back to low-carb (hopefully less than 10 per day) approach. New primary goal is to shed 3 pounds by week's end.
