Still in ketosis, I don't think the purple can get any darker but I'm still at a stall. Hopefully I start losing weight again soon but I will keep going no matter what this time. I have a free food day coming up for the 22nd. My son turns 14 that day and wants mommy to eat a lot of his cake that day. His words, not mine. He also asked for Chinese food for lunch and a Chinese buffet for dinner. Yes, I will eat off plan that day. The buffet has crab legs though, I could eat on plan but that one day a month of free food helps me combat cravings during the rest of the month.

If you are doing low carb, remember you can lose fat and not see the scale move. I had a friend who was in a "stall" for months and went down 4 sizes.

I think that could be true - what Suzi161 said. I am stuck on the scale but clothes are looser...LCHF works on the fat while we build muscle.

Why not make it a free meal instead of a free day? More control that way, and less of a chance that you'll undo a whole week's worth of dieting.

Happy news today. I went shopping (with my mom, no surprise) and I found a shirt I really liked for football games. Nice, lightweight, and cute. Problem is they only had a large left, no extra larges like I usually get. I looked at it and said this may fit me. I tried it on over my shirt I was wearing and now I am a proud owner of a LARGE not extra large shirt that fits me. I may not be losing weight but I can now fit in a smaller shirt! I like my free food days, one meal may not be enough to keep me on track for the rest of the month. If I did it more often one meal would be okay but for only one day per month the whole day works. I usually wind up crashing early (extra carbs) and don't get to eat as much as I wanted/planned to.

Thank you! I'm dancing around the house and I keep asking my son "Are you sure this looks okay?

Way to go, I felt great when I wore my first large too. Wear it with pride. :)
