aggie95's Journal, 12 June 2015

Up a little but nothing too bad! It hasn't been the best week for exercise. Managed 3 out of 5 days. Eating has been okay, with some stewed rhubarb sweetened with lots of sugar and a couple of mini butter tarts!

I had a talk with my DH Monday night and discussed my feelings. He gets some of it. So, things are fine with us.

Plans for the weekend are to hang out with my parents on Saturday with my son as my DH is working night shift this weekend. I'll have to cut their lawn. Need to get out and do some shopping with my son. He needs some sandals for the summer and we should look for a Father's day gift for DH.

Cheers to everyone to have a good weekend!

3 of 5 is still pretty good. I love rhubarb season, but with the rhubarb usually comes a lot of sugar. You have to balance that sour with the sweet. :) I'm glad you were able to talk to your hubby. Marriage is hard, and when you've been with someone for a while I think sometimes you are almost too comfortable and then start to neglect your communication. My hubby is very social and I'm not, so we've had to work on how to balance his need to be social and my need to be a homebody. Marriage is a constant work in progress, especially with men and women being so different, but if you love each other it's worth it. :) I hope you have a great weekend!!

It's always nice when we can talk and the other person gets what we are saying. Hopefully he keeps on listening.

Thanks Buddies! I had more rhubarb cake today. My 5 year old son even tried it and like it. We came home and told DH and he was horrified...because he totally dislikes rhubarb!!!
