SherryeB's Journal, 11 November 2023

It's a rainy day here in North Georgia & supposed to be a bit cooler. No weekend plans, but that's OK.

I went for the consultation on the Holter monitor Tuesday. I was a bit bummed out, I didn't get an all clear. I think I figured out the reason for feeling light headed during workouts....not getting hydrated in the mornings beforehand....as I have been feeling much better since I started drinking water with my coffee & breakfast. But, there were some abnormalities detected in my heartbeats & of course, they want to follow up with more tests....stress test, Echocardiagram, etc. I already know my heartbeat is never perfectly regular, like other people. But, my comparison EKGS are always similar. I get an Echo routinely that has shown little to no variation for the past 17 years. My last stress test & cardio cath (done due to some chest discomfort) revealed no issues. In the end, I believe it was gastro. So....I really don't want to go thru all the bother 😒 I find it hard to believe after changing my lifestyle with better diet ( 4 1/2 years) & regular exercise (16 months) I've suddenly developed a blockage in my arteries. After sulking for a day, I decided I will follow up with a consultation (recommended) with a specialist for heart rhythm (appt. scheduled) & do the further testing. But, I plan to do it in January. I do have a follow-up appt. scheduled with my Cardiologist (I saw the NP this time) Dec. 1st. I'll discuss my plan with him.

It's tough when you don't really know what's wrong and have to have so many tests. At least your doctors are following up on things. We are having a gorgeous fall day in Northern California

Ugh, it’s so frustrating. Been going through some of that with BF over the past year. Thinking good thoughts for you and I know you’ll overcome this.

So sorry you're dealing with all this. I know the frustration of having one of those weird, sticky wicket situations. Best of luck with the outcome 🤗
