Earlyish weigh-in....Teddy woke me up 😊

I did one load of laundry, then went thru my closet, pulling out things to pack. I pressed some things. I'll probably have to do a touch up when I wear them, but just in case I don't have an iron handy, they're not totally wrinkled. Everything is folded in the guest room, ready to put in the suitcase. I figured out which necklaces I want to pack to go with some of the outfits.

I also prepped all my medication/ vitamins/ supplements for the next 2 weeks.

I got hungry & sliced up an avocado & had it with some rice crackers. Hubby was out for lunch & often brings me part of his lunch, but I couldn't wait. Of course, as soon as I sat down to eat my avo, he called to tell me he was on his way home & had lunch for me. Then he called & said our neighbor & friend wanted to stop at the Brewery & buy him a beer on the way home. When he did get home, I ate the Steak Quesadilla he brought....& it was good!

Since lunch was high calorie, I put chicken thighs in the oven & whipped up a salad. They were under 500 calories.

Gym tomorrow.

Hubby isn't sure if he wants to go out to eat for his Birthday. He insists he doesn't need to do anything special tomorrow. We've had a lot to do to get ready for this trip. He had to go to the tag office & get the renewal stickers for our car & truck today, since they expire in July. After his birthday, there is increased cost. We're taking the dogs to the kennel on Saturday, so we have to be sure everything is ready for them. We prep all their meals, supplements & meds for their stay. Anyway, I said if he didn't want to go out to eat, we could get takeout. I actually hadn't planned on cooking a special dinner. I'm trying to use most of the stuff in the fridge without stocking up, so we don't leave food in there while we're away. I've been portioning our fruit the past few mornings, so we have just enough to last til Saturday's breakfast. We're leaving early Sunday morning, so will probably just have coffee & stop for breakfast.

Time to get to bed 🛌 😴....

I'll have to do some detective work to see where you are heading. Haven't been on much. You sound prepared. ;)

DP, I have been talking about our plans, but I can just tell you 😊 We're leaving Sunday for a 10 day trip to celebrate Hubby's birthday (80 🥂🍾🎈🎉). Six of us are staying at Niagara on the Lake at an Airbnb for a couple of nights. Then we're all heading up to the Toronto area (they live there). We're going to a concert to see Tedeschi Trucks (favorite band) & have some other fun plans. Our last visit to Toronto was for our Niece's funeral, Aug. 2021. A much happier occasion this time.
