Diana 1234's Journal, 15 May 2023

Not a total surprise. Steroid hunger is a real thing. On plus side, I am finally beginning to feel better. The worst symptom I have now is the weakness I feel and horrible back aches I'm getting. I'm thinking I may try gym towards end of week but as of right now the thought of working out overwhelms me. I just don't feel strong enough.

Glad to hear you are feeling better. Good idea to wait on the gym. I think you will be surprised that your muscles will gain back their strength pretty fast but take it slow out the gate so you don’t have a setback!

Good to hear about returning to humanity! Did you touch base yet with your doctor about the x-rays? How's the pink eye?

Hey Diana did you get your X-ray report? Im guessing it was negative? Hope you continue to improve. Do you have a rayus radiology down there? I had my chest xray yesterday and they emailed myself and my doctor results within about 3 hours….just a thought. I dont know if they operate outside Washington..

Year of health, Im still waiting. I have an app called "Follow your health" that shows all health related visits, procedures, results, etc with my doctor and I've been checking it all day. No results yet. It was very gloomy here today and clouds were low so breathing was hard. I want to go to gym on Thursday but I'm just st not sure yet. Hope you are feeling ok. Drink water and eat before you exercise.💜

Right?! Yes will try and be cognizant of not going out, especially in the heat, without something inside me…o that sounds funny. Something food related🤦‍♀️. Are you keeping up on nebulizer even tho you are feeling better? Keep that inflammation down. Also, montelukast may help keep the irritation down if you have allergies? Ask your doc. I took that for most of the last 10 years tho have been able to stop and stay off since I quit working. Do NOT go to the gym if you dont feel ready. You must listen to your body. Sadly we are not 20 anymore and have to listen 😳😳😳sending you my very best wishes and hope for your full recovery. Side note—i had an amazing discussion with my 25 year old former puppy sitter. She graduated college and is working a “grown up” job now but was our puppy sitter for the last 3 years since the 4-leggeds were babies. She came over 3X a week on the days my hub and i both worked and stayed with them till around 8:30-9 pm. So they are very attached to her and vice versa. I reached out to her to see if she would stay with them while i was in California getting all glamorous for a month and she instantly said yes. We had this great visit where i gave her very grown-upish old ladyish advice on trying to connect more emotionally with her daddy. And i was so amazed because i realize I’ve actually grown up! I hope it helps her. Ever surprise you when you realize how much affection you have for someone else’s child? If i was the parent back when of the person i am today i would be amazing! Xoxo. Get a good nights sleep ok.
