Too many cookies!!⛄🎄

Christmas cookies are pure gym fuel 😃 well that's what I think I heard somewhere maybe 😄 don't sweet it any cookie weight will be gone in no time.

otb, I'm in total agreement. I needed that sugar and those carbs to fuel me this morning!🤣 Finally got a good workout in today. I'm only 5 lbs under what I was lifting before I got sick. 💪💪

daddy, so true! I made frosted sugar cookie, chocolate peanut butter bars, German jam cookies, peanut butter blossoms, and stollen.

otb, you misunderstood. I meant that I'm only 5 lbs under now. After I was sick I was only lifting half of my usual weight. I just kept adding weight each week. Squats seem to be the hardest to get back to what I was lifting. I'm determined though!

I have not heard of stollen cookies before. What are they like?

Daddy, The stollen are not cookies. It's a sweet bread rolled into a log shape and filled with cinnamon, butter, nuts and dried fruits. Some in my family donot like dried fruit so I have just done cinnamon sugar ones as well. I dust top of lig with lots of powdered sugar.

Oh those darn cookies and I think I am eating more than I need for workout fuel! I tried to make sure and really pound the ropes at the end of workout yesterday just because of cookies! That was the last workout at the gym and don't go back until next Wednesday. I am not very good on my own so we will see!

Redporch, I had training this morning and so I did 15 min of elliptical before and 20 min of treadmill after to counteract those pesky cookies and stollen but then came home and hubby bought me a cranberry bagel..I never eat bagels but I'm on a roll with carbs lately..I take pump class tomorrow so I'll do a bit of cardio again...Have a Merry Christmas!❤️🙏❄️🎄⛄. Good job on the extra cardio! I love bagels and that is something I don't eat much of anymore because of all those carbs. I know that carbs won't hurt us because we work out but I don't know you get to be older and those carbs are a little pesky!!
