Sweet Georgia Peaches's Journal, 13 December 2022

So tired of following low carb, keto, and low calorie and low fat and nothing working. I have been eating what I cook for my family. Also we go out to eat and we have a lot of fellowship at my church. I have learned to eat what I want and have control. Just a couple or three bites and move on. It has took awhile but 22 pounds gone slow, but not effort over 5 months. I plan on staying on this plan and drop 20 plus more.
158.0 lb Lost so far: 22.0 lb.    Still to go: 18.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
losing 0.9 lb a week

That's the best when you have control enough to enjoy life and the things you love. Trying to get back to that point myself. Congrats!!

Amen! That's been my plan for 3+ years and 116#. It was the only way I could actually do it. I am not going to give up the foods that I like for food that I don't like for the rest of my life! I have found new foods that I like and foods that I used to binge on that I no longer enjoy. It will always be a learning process. Blessings on your continued success!

@SLYONE 22 thank you so much and the same to you as well. Prayer has helped also, when temptations are in front of me. I have to ask for guidance, but it does work.

I'm glad that method is working for you! I hope you can continue to work towards your goal and enjoy food. I think most would like that but it doesn't work for everybody. I don't mind tracking my food. It helps me a lot.

You can still stay LC buy eating those high fiber complex carbs to keep your net carbs down. Love me some beans and the fiber and protein they provide!

@66Pack my husband is diabetic, so there is not any sugar and or starch items in the house. We do eat dry beans and peas, and an occasional piece of cornbread. Just everything in limits.
