ObeseToBeast123's Journal, 30 August 2022

back down the roller coaster... yesterdays breakdown was Protein 159g, fats 53g, carbs 355g calories 2304.(goal 155 pro, 40 fat, 350+ carb. Calories 2300) Would like to drop the fats down another 10 to 15 grams and add the calories into more carbs but this was really close to perfect In my eyes. Took a legitimate rest day yesterday no cardio and no lifting just put my feet up in the couch and watched some TV. Woke up this morning and can tell my body appreciated the recovery time. I'm hopeful I can get close to the same macro goals today and put all those carbs to good use tonight with a solid gym effort.

I’ve worked out with no rest days, 1 rest day and now 2 rest days... well close to 2 cuz on one of the rest day I do abs n traps only. But i actually grow more with the 2 days of rest

I usually try to do something on the rest days not lifting but something athletic / cardio but this was really nice to just relax. I really like the push pull leg rest(non lift day atleast) it has deffintly worked the best for me. The rotating days has no real impact on my schedule but I know it doesn't work for everyone.

I give myself 2 days of rest a week, and it really works for me. I tend to just to walk for 40 minutes on those days, and it's really more to shake out the kinks. If I'm vegging out reading a novel or watching a movie, I'll stretch for a lot of it. Helps with any soreness, and I sleep more soundly for it. Nice drop, BTW.

SLYONE 22 I'm always making small tweaks but I am very greatfull that I have narrowed my WOE down to something that is conducive to my goals and will be sustainable. Today was the best workout I have had in over a month between the full on rest day yesterday, cutting down on my waking miles the past two days and really dialing in my intake it was a great success.

ginome haha thanks ive been bouncing a bunch this month and I haven't made an true progress. I gained and lost the same few pounds a few times between stress eating for a full week at the beginning of the month and then over eating on vacation for a week it's just been a wash.
