At around 2000 calories your body does not think it is starving. Take a closer Look at the foods you are eating, and your SALT intake.

I agree with Kenna - check out the salt levels --- and the types of food - many foods take days to digest - so you run a Calorie Net Deficit - that does use stores of fat energy but the undigested foods - well they accumulate and the body will store that energy in the future - at the first available opportunity. That is the job of the body to store energy. That sodium intake is very high in our "commercialized" food production --- even some fresh veggies have a huge sodium level - that was a surprising fact that I realized. The effects of sodium on digestion while stopping any weight loss or body fat loss - are notable.

@Kenna Morton thank you for the heads up. I drink avg 140 oz a day. You would think that would help flush out a lot of sodium if much out of my system. I am definitely looking into my food and Na content. Thank you again

@Jergens123 thank you for the heads up and veggies and salt. I'm going to take another look at Na in my food. Strangely I usually swell in my legs if salt is up and or don't drink enough fluids. 🙏🏻🙏🏻👍👍👍

Actually there are not ALOT of vegetables that are high in sodium naturally unless you are a cardiac or severe kidney patient. Drinking large amounts of water does help flush out sodium IF YOU have normal kidney function. This is where some self education/ reading comes in. When you flush out sodium with high water intake you also flush out potassium — they go hand in hand in life like the big sister and little brother—- where sodium goes, potassium follows. Now you are dealing g with potential electrolyte imbalance. There are two things that can kill you real fast— one is too much potassium and the other is too little potassium. Potassium is one of the micro—nutrients, along with magnesium that helps control your heart rhythm and rate. The RDI is about 4700 mg a day and most of us, including me, don’t get anywhere close to that. Fruits and vegetables are our primary source of potassium. But just an FYI a small can of LOW SODIUM V-8 juice has about 900 mg of potassium. Regular v-8 is full of SODIUM. I OFTEN ADD LOW SODIUM V-8 or tomato juice to soup recipes. Losing weight is not just about calories. You have to take the time to read and learn and take I to consideration your personal health issues, specifically diabetes, kidney issues, heart disease. Fucking around with your electrolytes can kill you.

Drink 4 8 oz. glasses/bottles of h2o for breakfast, another set for lunch, and lastly another set for dinner. Also, processed/fast-foods contain giant amounts of sodium. Stay away from sugar too. Anything w/2-digits of sugar is a no-no. Move around more too. Walk, dance, meditate, tai-chi, bike, stairs, etc. You can and will do this and win!...amen =)

@Kenna Morton You for this much detail let me assure you that I'm medically as well when it comes to the heart the functions of the kidney liver than others as a matter of fact before I had my back surgery Las Vegas my doctor thought it was in the best physical condition and health condition that she has ever seen me and I'm approaching 60 this May. My mindset is great my attitude is even better I don't like them those I'm determined and I coach my clients on mindset success and mastery. Thank you for the input on that factor and I'm grateful for the feedback that will make me more aware electrolytes potassium all good I do every 6 months of full blood work.

@Slow Meta Thank you for the encouragement to feedback I am grateful. I do a lot of meditation I do walk take the stairs to the bike and the orangetheory is turning out to be a positive move we'll see how well I could keep up with it. I actually see myself physically much more flexible on agile in a month from now so I'm going to do it I discovered today that I did the term of yesterday I could only go to 1.0 inclination and 1.6 in speed and did 9.5 minutes. Today at orangetheory fitness I learned something by myself I was able to go up to 2.5 inclination at one point and at 2.7 speed and lasted 22 minutes not on the same level but gradually increasing to that level it was huge.
