Changed my goal from 142 to 144 today. Since I'm happy to be at 145 or below, I decided that was a good goal. Last Summer, I was hovering around 142...even below sometimes. So, I lowered my goal down from 145. Am I giving up or compromising? For now I feel it's more realistic since I'm eating maintenance calories, and for the foreseeable future, I don't think that will change.

I got the results back from my bloodwork. Cholesterol is up slightly. I looked back at what I was eating 6 months ago when I was last tested. I don't think it's my diet. I'm more inclined to think it's a reduced exercise level. I really need to work on that. I skipped my walk yesterday afternoon. I was feeling tired from getting up early for my appointment. I'm thankful for Hubby motivating me today to get out, even though it was overcast & had been raining earlier.

I made oven roasted Turkey sausage with veggies for dinner tonight. I decided to cut the sausage servings in half....cooking only one of the links (shared by Hubby & I) and saving the other for another meal. I also happily let him eat my resteraunt leftovers of Chicken Parm & pasta for lunch.

I accidentally cleaned the fridge out today 😁 I started with wiping down one of the turntables on a shelf....before I knew it, I had cleaned the whole fridge, including pulling out the veggie & fruit bins, cleaning underneath, and disposing of stuff I determined needed to go.

Ended the day under 1800 calories....even after dessert.

You're definitely not giving up, just assessing what works for you. Best to find a weight you can live a happy life with and maintain it! 😃

If you HDL level is lower but overall is higher, it very well could be reduced exercise

Thanks SK. Overall, I'm still within an acceptable range but it's gone up. Hopefully more exercise will help.
