I know this rate of weight loss can't be sustained - something around 2 lbs per week is about the maximum one can or should do safely, and to ensure long-term success. Crash diets are never a good idea. Even so, it is good to feel the pounds come off so quickly at the start of a period of carefully checking calorie intake. I will take it as long as it is happening...
