I'm an active senior, running (10 minute per mile pace average) around 30 to 35 miles per week, and spending about an hour or so on strength exercises (concentrating on legs, glutes, core but also upper body) five times per week. Diet is plant-based with zero added oil, and minimal processed foods. I make exceptions where unavoidable, such as when eating out, with friends or while traveling.

New to Fatsecret but not to weight issues
This site is recommended as the best free calorie counting site on the internet, which got my attention. Previously tried Cronometer and it was ok but don't lose your password as they don't email you back with pw change info...

I don't have tons of weight to lose - 20 to 25 pounds max - but losing weight is like having an ache or a pain. For a sedentary person a calf sprain might be a minor inconvenience, while it can be disastrous for a serious runner. We all have different goals, different backgrounds, different starting points.

My goal is to get back to what I weighed in college which was around 150 lbs. I haven't grown any taller so it should be doable...

Anyway I will try to keep this as 'light' as possible and make it as much fun as one could have on a restricted calorie diet. Not being able to eat out in restaurants as easily as before, should definitely help. Right? Good luck to everyone and thanks for having me around for the ride. Cheers.
