I lost my short journal entry yesterday 😕 For some reason my weight update doesn't always get saved so I have to double check before posting. I didn't have time to update again.

Better weight today. 😊 Yesterday I still had all of the previous night's food in my tummy...if you get my drift.

As long as I don't go over 145 I'm not too unhappy. I have been having strong urges to nibble more & eat/ drink stuff. Like hot chocolate or cider....and more comfort food. This time of year I seem to get little bored and feel kind of blah. I haven't been getting out for everyday walks & have no motivation to do other exercise. Ever since our first Covid quarentine period that started in March of 2020 some of our usual social activities stopped & we've not gotten back in the habit again. Like our regular Thursday night dinner out with friends & lunch with a group of ladies once a month. Out Book Club has gotten back to meeting once a month. Hubby seems content enough to be at home more often.

Neither of us slept well last night. Lucy woke us up in the night getting sick. Never seemed to get back to a sound sleep. Hubby had an early doctor's appointment so that disturbed me. I think I dozed but that's it. I got up a little earlier & fed the dogs. He's stretched out on the sofa now getting a few extra 💤 's

I do have Book Club next week. I ended up finishing the book even though it was hard to get into. I read another one in the middle in about 2 days. I enjoyed it! I'm reading a Patterson mystery now. It's not bad but isn't so engrossing it makes me stay up really late reading.

Today is warmer (50's) so the snow is melting some. Our forecast for Friday says we may get a bit more.

I found a new series to watch on Hulu & started yesterday. It's "Little Fires Everywhere" with Kerry Washington & Reese Witherspoon. It's pretty good.

Guess I'll have some breakfast...
145.4 lb Lost so far: 27.4 lb.    Still to go: 10.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

The same thing happened to my first journal entry yesterday 😕 Kinda bummed cuz I really appreciated the responses...and now they're gone! I SO enjoy your journal entries Sherrye. Remind me of the letters I used to get from my Mom ~ daily tidbits that kept us close in heart💙💕
