HK3's Journal, 15 November 2021

I love sugar. I have stopped eating 90% of the sugar I used to eat. I also think most people need to stop eating foods with added sugar if they don’t plan on burning off those calories with physical activity. This is from stack.com and perhaps the best simple statement I have read on the matter: “Lack of physical activity, more so than sugar, is a greater threat to our health. Given that so many people are overfat and underfit, a diet low in sugars and starches is likely a good idea for them. But for sports-active, fit people—who are at lower risk for heart disease, diabetes, and obesity—sugar and carbs are not toxic but rather a helpful way to enhance athletic performance. The one-size diet does not fit all.”

If I wanted to gain weight back do you know what I’d do? I’d eat sugar again. Let that sink in and consider it next time you decide to eat a candy bar instead of taking a walk.

Glad you sought the truth, now maybe you'll stop posting on journals of people incorporating certain foods into their lifestyle just because you don't agree with it. Maybe you'll stop claiming something is terrible for you as it would depend on many variables. Even if you don't think it is, it isn't your business. Unless someone is actively asking for help or what everyone's opinion is, it's pretty easy to keep scrolling instead of making people stop posting because of the trolling.

Yeah, you're nothing but a troll who only wants to engage on other people's journals. I've outlasted many like you. Eventually you get tired or banned.

HK3: "Jergens, please don’t misunderstand me…I do not have concern for my fellow man, I loathe him. I do rather enjoy disrupting the daily grind by annoying the piss out of people though. Does that make me a troll? Maybe…but I told you I’m an asshole, so when you engage me that’s on you. 😝"

Big day for me…I’m being quoted.

How about a candy bar AND a walk? Why either or? If I want to gain weight, I eat extra calories from things like cream, dark chocolate which is high fat and macadamia nut butter. A diet low in calories is what overfat, undermuscled and inactive people need instead of paranoia about sugar which appears to be an obsession for you which explains why you love harassing people who eat it on their journals.

Hey Allie!…can I call you Allie? How are you? Skinny and more fit than me I presume? You told me to get back to you in three years when I had maintained 10-15% body fat…kinda surprised you dropped in to give your regards. I was totally down with the three years things…had Siri set me a reminder and everything.

Good on u, HK3, speak ur truth on ur post...ur allowed. I will say that CICO works for me, no matter the macros🤙🏼

For Jergens, this is not my post but u specifically addressed me so I will respond (my apologies to HK3): I support any FS mbr posting their opinions/thoughts in their own journals, although I loathe inappropriate language/vulgarity. I agree with Diablo's comments that it's pretty easy to keep scrolling. We all - particularly those who r private to followers on a public social media forum - can CHOOSE NOT to read/comment on other journals/posts, and even report them as inappropriate.

I see that Jergens's comment, which I responded to, has been deleted. That's fine, I stand by my comments in response to her questioning my support of any FS member.

Y’all up late…sheesh. I just got up to pee. Acom, you’re all good…use my post for whatever you’d like. Jergens is welcome too. I use vulgar language sometimes…usually for comedic effect. Meh. Regardless of CICO being the most basic kindergarten-level aspect of nutrition, I will continue to promote massive reductions in added sugars for all people. I will also promote diets that include primarily things other than doughnuts, sweetened cereals, pizza and candy. Some of these body builder types haven’t ever eaten a vegetable and people coming at me like I’m the crazy one. Weirdos. Anyhow…back to bed.

Wounded? Lol. Get some rest now, a proper sleep cycle is important to our health.

PS I’m happy to openly discuss my loathing of humanity. It’s not so out of bounds given the social climate. You can loathe right back at me. I’m allowed to be uninterested in your words, allowed to be disgusted by your habits, actions and beliefs, and allowed to express myself accordingly. You’re allowed to walk on by and disengage from my comments, heck you can even cancel me from your thread. This doesn’t mean I won’t encourage your efforts and applaud your results…I will. This doesn’t mean I lack the ability to empathize with your struggle…I do. This doesn’t mean I won’t give you a thumbs up on your food pictures. But I do enjoy a good debate…it’s a hoot.

Just wow😳 Mahalo for reading & quoting my bio, Jergens...by choosing that action and your unprecedented rant, you have single-handedly validated my opinion/position. Congratulations🤙🏼

Healthy blood panel and a leaner physique than you so we''ll keep doing it too. Crazy would be doing things that ruined our health. CICO isn't basic, it's physics. Focus on nutrition, which we get despite what you think, and protein, do resistance training, and watch the newbies who've had mild success lose their minds(you).

It’s not really physics so much as it is biochemistry but I understood what you meant, D.

I also think you’re doing a disservice to people by using the word nutrition, which is not necessarily the same as healthy. A stick of butter is nutrition…a cup of broccoli is healthy. I’m glad your blood panel is tip top…mine is too…slightly elevated BUN/creatinine but nothing of immediate concern. Cheers to health.

The law of thermodynamics is physics. That's what I refer too. It applies to all of us.

Ok, I’ll give you that…true.

Diablo, check out this quick clip…I watched a lot of Thomas Delauer videos when I was on keto. The topics discussed here form a sort of common ground between what you and I have argued about. Very interesting discussion about CICO with other factors that determine where the energy goes. Legitimately interested to hear your thoughts. https://youtu.be/FTG9UZx9ILU
