Headed in the right direction...just 1 lb. up from where I started a week ago Saturday. I cut calories back 3 1/2 days ago...so not bad. I did eat a tich over 1700 calories yesterday. Going back to my usual WOE after a week of higher calories & eating "regular" meals on other people's schedule, means I feel hungry at times I don't usually feel hungry. I'm managing it. Not sure what I'm having for dinner tonight. Hubby is out for an evening with friends...first Poker game since March 2020, when Covid quarantine started. They have tried to plan something several times in the past couple of months but it kept getting canceled. The friend who's place they gathered at for a long time is going through some health/ emotional trials. They finally moved the game & it's actually happening. Soooo....I'm only feeding myself. I was going to have a mini frozen pizza...maybe a salad on the side. Then I started thinking of alternatives.

I have Book Club tomorrow night...Chicken & Dumplings are the main course with squash casserole. I'm not fond of squash casserole usually...It's often a bit mushy for my taste. There will be other sides & dessert, so I'll just need to be conservative. I'm going to make a big salad. I have some small Sirloin steaks & asparagus for dinner Thursday night.

Then Friday I go to my sister's for the evening (half way to Florida) & Saturday we finish our trek 😁🌊⛱ We always choose a night or 2 to eat out & buy groceries for the other meals. We're there a week (!!!) this trip. Last time we bought a bunch of seafood & had a feast one night.

I've been doing laundry yesterday & today...partially unpacked...all the dirty clothes. Thursday I'll pack again for the beach. I always pack too many clothes. We end up in swimsuits a lot. If we don't go out anywhere then all I need are comfy clothes for lounging around. I hauled a bunch of freshly laundered stuff upstairs but still need to put it away. I still have a pile on the washer & dryer to take up...guess that makes it 2 piles 🤔

I also gave our master bath a good cleaning today. Trying to get the house tidy before I go away & leave it to Hubby for the week.

Well, the dogs are whining. I'm going to take them for a walk then feed them. I'm trying to motivate myself to do a yoga/ toning routine before dinner.
143.4 lb Lost so far: 29.4 lb.    Still to go: 8.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Your life seems so fun! I like reading about your daily activities. I know I have said that before so you probably think I am a weirdo. I do enjoy it though- yours and katsolo- and mermee- anyone who tells my nosy ass exactly what they have been doing. :)

Share away Mermee! I do enjoy reading about your days. I guess I've always had adventures but age has really taught me to appreciate family even more. I love the closeness my family has...on both sides. I'm in my second marriage. This time I found my soul mate. I married very young the first time. He wasn't a bad guy...just not meant to be my forever guy.
