aggie95's Journal, 24 January 2014

No change on the scale this week but I'm fine with that. Just maintaining with the hopes of losing the last 5 lbs sometime this year! Work is getting really busy this week. And my son's 4th b-day is coming up. I have plans for attempting to make a tractor cake. Got the wilton cake pan and my friend is loaning me the use of her decorating tools. Just gotta do it. Party is for next Saturday. We are having a couple of his daycare buddies coming over in the morning to play with him and have lunch. And then in the evening we are having my hubby's family over. Just going to do snacky foods like chips and nacho dip, meatballs, chili, etc. Then the next day we'll celebrate with my family at the farm. My mom is going to make a tractor cake too. My son's official birth date is Feb.5 and the plan for that day is to make some cupcakes to go with him to daycare to have a small party there. So, lots of baking and cooking coming up.

I'm also stressing a bit about kindergarten for my son as all the schools are having open houses and sign ups over the next few weeks. Can believe we have to do this already! Do we go private school or public and if we go public do we go out of our district?? Plus we have to think about daycare too. I just want what is best for him! But the choices!!!

Well, it's way too windy here today for a run outside. The winds are over 50 km/hr. Hopefully, I'll get home before DH goes to work tonight and do a quick run on the treadmill if it will cooperate and function for me!

Cheers and have a great weekend!

Aggie you are doing a fantastic job at maintaining your weight. Hope you enjoy all the b-day celebrations, and your son has fun, is he a John Deere fan or will any tractor do? I'm sure it will be a hit regardless :)Re- K registration- I'm sure you will make the right decision for your family. Hope you get what you need :)

Maintaining is always better than gaining, and those last 5 lbs will come off this year. My son's birthday is on Feb. 4th, but he'll be 9 this year. I like the snacky foods idea, I may have to steal that for my son's party. :) You'll figure out the school thing. Try to tour all of your options to get an idea of what best matches your hopes for child's education. You'll know what's best when the time comes. Have fun baking!!

School is lots of fun for them. I hope you have some nice places to pick from. I want to try homeschooling our oldest next year and see how he does before considering doing it with all of them. I am very proud of you for maintaining. That is much harder then some people realize. Your doing great. I hope you guys have lots of fun with the parties!

Good for you for maintaining - the last 5 will drop off, just you wait and see. I think maintaining can be harder than losing just because it is easy to relax a bit and not concentrate. Have a great weekend!
