Treadmill/Running Challenges

01/20/14 - 01/26/14: 8.08 miles or 13 km; 1010 calories burned

Running was accomplished over 4 workouts and was all outside. Weather was cold last week. And this week will be more of the same!

Weekend was good. My DH was home sick though Sat and Sun with stomach flu. My son and I were at my parents helping out with the farm on Saturday. We didn't get home until about 8 pm and that's when we found out that Daddy had not gone to work! Try to tell a little guy though that he has to be quiet and let Daddy rest! Not happening!! I tried my best though! On Sunday, my DH was feeling better but by the afternoon he feeling bad again. It sucks that he was feeling horrible and it bothers him when he misses work. He's the type that has to go to work no matter what! It also doesn't help that he doesn't get sick days and loses pay.

So, busy week this week. Gotta get ready for my son's birthday party. I made a list and I don't think some of it will happen! So much running around...why didn't I think of these things sooner! And I was thinking of serving chili but then I'd have to find some bowls....

Anyway, I'll get thru this. Plus I plan to keep running this week. Hopefully, I get over this sweet food craving thing...I want cake, donuts, cookies, chocolate. I think it's the weather...it's cold and I think I need extra to keep me warm! It's all in my head!

BRrrrrr-are you managing to stay warm today, hope your not going to go running in this temp. Re- birthday party plans, I always got majorly stressed when organizing my girls b-day parties, I would try and organize games and activities and have themes and all they wanted to do was run around and be silly with their friends, which is OK, I just wish I had of known that sooner it would have saved me alot of fuss. Regardless of whether you get everything done you think you need to do, I'm sure your son will have a blast. Good luck with cravings, I know all about it, and I think it does def go hand in hand with the weather ;) or at least that is my theory at the moment.
