Happy Friday everyone!

Weight the same.

Well today is the day I travel back to our home in northern Illinois. Should leave on the train this afternoon if it is running on time; Amtrak is not that reliable on their scheduled departures or arrivals. The train has been a source of trouble for me in the past with my WOE. Preparing food ahead of time is helping me resist temptations. Last few times I drank a diet 7-up to feel half normal. Just got a cup of ice at the snack bar and nothing else.

I'm excited to see my husband again for the weekend. He is a patient man to let me take care of our granddaughter during the week. We have been doing this since Olivia was born and she was born in April of 2009. Cliff's and my anniversary is in April too. We will be married 34 years. He just asked me last night what I wanted to do? Anything that doesn't involve eating out alot. I have come to love staying at home and cooking healthy meals. I used to grab any chance I could to go out to eat. Don't get me wrong, I would love it if someone cooked the healthy meals for me. Everyone likes to be pampered a little. Lol

Hope all my peeps are having a great day. Have a great weekend! Stay safe! Love and Hugs{{{}}}

Have a safe trip, you are a great mother/grandmother to do what you do, and yes your husband is a patient soul, you must miss each other. Congrats on your upcoming anniversary. Hope you think of something nice/fun for the two of you to do that doesn't involve eating - lol - that will be hard to think of, 'cause almost all our social interactions involve food and drink. Hope the trip goes fast and that the week-end goes slow.

Hi Cindy, I've traveled Amtrak through Illinois before (the Texas Eagle) and really enjoyed it. In fact I was on the train my first day on the Atkins diet. LOL It's always a challenge to stay the course on a low carb eating plan when eating out. But it's doable, as my Mom says; she's been on Atkins for the past year and successfully navigates the dine out menus better than I ever could. :) Have a great weekend with the hubby. And safe journey. God bless.

Hi Cindy, my husband and I have known each other since we were 17 and you know what I mean:) Valentines day is the anniversary of our first kiss and we will be celebrating our 25th Anniversary in May. I want to go to a bed and breakfast at Yosemite this year because the waterfalls should be spectacular and we love to take long walks under the huge sequoia....Yes...that sounds like a good plan. Enjoy your special day. TOWANDA!!!!

Thanks Stef, Babs, and Lisa! And yes Babs you saw right. My daughter is expecting again. She is just about 7 weeks pregnant right now. They had their first ultra sound last Friday. The baby looks like a peanut right now. The baby is to small to tell which sex it is right now. They aren't like us old timers. They want to know the sex of their baby before it comes. Of course they will take what they get, but, they want to plan. It was just a surprise when I had mine. Lisa, I would love to go to a bed and breakfast if I could make sure that I could have the food I want. Yosemite sounds beautiful. I still remember my first kiss from my husband too. Love ya'll! Hugs{{{}}}

Oh, and Babs, this routine isn't about to end anytime soon. I just don't want to have my grandchildren in daycare when I can be here. It sometimes seems like a sacrifice when I think of the back and forth trips on the train; however, this nana wants her grandchildren to know her and know that she loves them.

Hey Cindy, my anniversary is in April too! We got married on my husband's birthday...so he could never forget! For real. He's terrible. And yes, he has forgotten, even his own birthday! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Thanks Pixi! Last year we went to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. This year I'd like to stay closer to home. We will probably wait until Easter to do something because that is when my daughter, son in law and grandaugther will be visitiing his side of the family. Thanks Lily! And it was Lisa who got their first kiss at Yosemite. My first kiss was at my apartment door right after a date. Paula, Happy upcoming anniversary to you too. Isn't that a man for you...not remembering when his anniversary is or even his birthday. Ya'll have a super fantastic weekend! Love and Hugs{{{}}}
