SherryeB's Journal, 09 January 2021

Although I'm not feeling "sick" any longer I haven't been feeling very motivated either. I had planned to walk today, but Hubby has discouraged me the past couple of days. He seems to think I shouldn't push myself too soon. It's cold today, but if I don't get off my butt soon I may lose all motivation.

Other than dropping off Hubby to pick up the truck a few days ago & a quick run into the Library to check out a book I've been home a week.

I went back to my logs for January last year. I only read a few days, but I was trying to motivate myself to remove & pack up the Christmas decorations then, too. So nothing new. I'll give myself the weekend but by Monday I'll get on it for sure.

I guess for now I'll sit here with the fire in the fireplace & read....

I'm glad your feeling better. Even if you don't go out and exercise you'll burn calories taking the tree down! I think I'm going to start on ours soon too.

Yes, Bear I do find both putting up & taking down my decor I burn calories. I do quite a bit of decorating so there is some work involved.

DP, if you don't have a fireplace you should consider installing either an electric or gas one on the wall. My neice put one in their Master Bedroom & it's so cool! Now I want one 😊 I do love our wood burning one. It's both functional & decorative. It creates a wonderful ambiance on a cold day.
