Hey! What are the portion sizes like? I’ve considered ordering from places like hello fresh but am just told the portion sizes are ‘for one person’. Ok well I’m one person and hubby is one person and we eat different amounts lol.

Peeper, each meal is two portions. I have found a serving filling with all the meals we've tried. The meat is usually 4 to 6 oz. per person. With the veggies on the side I'm always full. You can get enough for 4 servings, but of course that would cost more.

Yeah that wouldn’t be enough for us. The older girls eat about 4-6oz each meal, my youngest 2oz, I eat around 6oz and hubby eats 8-12oz+. Just making hamburgers I use 2# and rarely have any left over. For veggies and sides we eat an average of 1/2-1 cup potatoes each and veggies is like 3-4 heads of broccoli or 2-3 cans of corn etc. Unless I find a service that has those portions but in 6-8 servings then it wouldn’t be worth it for us. I’d end up cooking two different meals each night lol. Thanks for the information!

Yeah, I don't think it would be cost effective for a family. There are just two of us. Sometimes, I have thought that the portions looked small before I prepared the meal but it always seems to make plenty & fills us up. 3 meals for 2 average around $60. I could probably buy the ingredients for less but it's a nice change some weeks. We don't order every week....just occasionally.
