SherryeB's Journal, 16 November 2020

I averaged out at just under 1900 calories per day last week. I decided not to up my 1800 calorie per day goal. Even if I go over some days I think as I go into the holidays it may be good to try to aim lower some days. That being said my dessert put me over 2000 today 🙄 I think tomorrow is going to be more conservative.

Last night though, I did skip eating potato chips....even though I was thinking about them. Hubby & I were watching Netflix & I didn't want to pause the show to go measure out a portion to eat. Since I always measure these days before I eat, I ended up just skipping them. That's a win!

We had a zoom book club meeting this afternoon. I miss actually getting together, bringing food we've prepared for each other & socializing. As we were wrapping up tonight a couple of the others expressed the same feelings.

It's gotten colder & moving downwards in temperatures the next couple of days. It was a bit brisk when we went on our walk today.

I cooked chicken breasts, carrots, fingerling potatoes, onions & mushrooms in the iron skillet in the oven tonight....quick & easy comfort food.

Sounds yummy! I do the same on my daily goals. I’d like an average of about 1700 so if I have more like 1900 then I need to be conservative the next day and have 1500.
