And just like that ⤵️😊

So, I had Italian sausage & fresh corn to cook last night. I had planned on popping them in the oven & serving....mustard & butter added. Hubby starts in with...no, I want peppers, tomatoes...Rethink the plan...so, chopped peppers, onions, jalapeño. the sausage....added some salsa verde in the pan & tossed in the leftover sausage ravioli in the fridge. I was careful to serve up a conservative portion for myself (1 sausage & 4 ravioli). I put the rest in Hubby's bowl 🥣 😀 He then says I gave him too much food 🙄 What's a girl to do? (He ended up with leftovers).

Rain today. It started yesterday afternoon so no walk & none today. For some reason my knee was bothering me yesterday anyway so I was OK with not walking. I filled the tub with hot water & bubbles & had a nice soak instead.

I'm researching zumba music/ routines on utube. I think I'm going to try it. I love to dance but I'm not great at following routines. I figure if I do it at home in my living room I won't embarrass myself too much. 😁

We rented a movie to watch either tonight or tomorrow. Hubby is napping so 😴 we won't be watching til after dinner anyway. I've been reading our book club choice "The Kitchen House" by Kathleen Grissom. It's pretty good. Our evening TV entertainment this week has been "Turn" on Netflix. We're really enjoying it! History, intrigue, romance....all in one show.

I'm cooking blackened porkchops with white beans & turnip greens for dinner tonight. I'm adapting a Pinterest recipe...supposed to be spinach but I have leftover turnip greens in the fridge and no spinach on hand. It sounded good for a eet, rainy evening.
141.0 lb Lost so far: 31.8 lb.    Still to go: 6.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You are doing wonderfully as usual! I just looked up "Turn." I'm going to try it. Sometimes it seems like the only time I relax is when my brain is turned off watching something that is interesting. I hope you are having a great evening!😊

We're having a great evening, Melissa. Just watched the 2nd of 2 recorded episodes of Renovation Inc. on HGTV. Starting Season 2 of Turn. Hope you're having a good evening as well! The rain is pouring down outside, here.

We had so much rain today! It just poured! We even had hail and lightening, which is pretty unusual for us. I saw the pileated woodpecker three times today, so I am so excited!!!! I think we have a "regular!" considering I've only ever seen one in our yard a handful of time in 6 years if living here, I couldn't be more pleased!
