No need to feel discouraged. Once your ankle heals, you'll be back at.

Thank you tatauu ❤️ I'm trying.

I'm so sorry, but you have made such progress! Thankfully weight loss isn't as tied to exercise as diet. I broke my toe in several places two years ago. It was super bad and I couldn't walk properly for months. It gets better, and you will be happy you kept up your chair cardio when you can work out normally again!

Melissa, thank you for your encouraging words! I'm just having cardio withdrawal is all 😂 Why am I so moody!? It's terrible 😅

So limited in my exercise space and positions in my truck but stretch bands and adjustable weight dumbbells can wear me out in quick time if I use them correctly! No ankles required! Good luck as you heal!

Omg! That sounds super frustrating! I think its AWESOME that you've still stayed dedicated enough to find ways around it and still work out. That's amazing! A lot of people would've just kicked their foot up on the coffee table and ate mcdonalds for the next couple weeks until it healed. So, I'm no doctor, but I do know the human body reacts in weird ways to injury, trying to heal and self preserve. So, maybe your body is spending time trying to repair your ankle and called a timeout burning those extra calories? I don't know... sounds possible tho🤷‍♂️. Keep rockin' it!!! (Ps- I've sprained my ankles like 100 times... it SUCKS! I feel your pain... get better soon✌🍷)

Kincanon, I'm sure there's some scientific research that may suggest that! I believe it, I feel super fatigued throughout the day. I'm usually full of energy, but this is really draining me. Thank you for your kind words! I don't want to give up or pause this lifestyle change. I'm determined to get my body back in shape and keep it healthy 💪🏽✨

60pack, you know I really should buy some stretch belts. I have no work out equipment 😢 I'm going to look on Amazon. Thanks! 🙂

I hear ya Meepers! I tweaked my back this week and it’s making me moody too. I rely on my workouts for my mental health, and as part of my routine now. I did sprain my ankle pretty early on when I first joined FatSecret. I was so worried and scared I was going to gain it all back. I found out though that I wasn’t as hungry with less movement, so I increased my calorie deficit and continued losing while my ankle healed. Hang in there! It’s tough, but you are tougher👊🏼💪🏼

Get the BodyBoss 2.0 it's super inexpensive and amazingly versatile. Google it and watch the videos.

I’ve found stretch bands are pretty cumbersome but better than nothing in a pinch. Body weight exercise is good also.

Can you wear a medical boot? Not to go running or do gymnastics or anything crazy, but you can at least stand with one on. They’re not terribly expensive on amazon. Wear it while you work out, take it off the rest of the time because it’s hot and stinky.

Leilei, thanks girl ✨ I'm still battling cravings, but I'm still eating healthy. I have been eating less, but I don't want to go below 1000 calories again. I was starting to feel sick 😵

Anytime! I know, the cravings are a whole other beast. Definitely don’t go that low! I think I was doing like 1200-1350 or something like that, and doing abs and light upper body at the time.

Kincanon, I was worried if those attachments would be too long, but there was a review of someone who was my height and it worked for them. I want to get an elliptical... not sure if I'm fully invested though haha. I have a crap rowing machine that doesn't do anything for me anymore 😅 I don't want to be hoarding work out equipment that I'll never use 😵

Leilei, Yes!! I've been focusing on my abs... not gonna lie, but I think I'm seeing small progress there 😏 Haha I'm kidding, but that would be amazing after 3 days! I gotta be realistic.

60pack, what kind of workouts do you usually do? Or do you follow a video? I'm just trying to get ideas for future workouts 🙂

Katsolo, I have a heavy duty ankle brace that I wear during my workouts, so that I don't cause anymore damage 😅 There are a few standing workouts I could do with a boot though, so that's a good idea. Also, what if I like it hot and stinky? 😏😂
