I’m blaming the late night shake and snickers lol. It’ll be down tomorrow!

Long day today! Was exhausted from this stupid cold/allergies but didn’t get a nap yesterday. Hubby opened the window last night so it’s worse today. Macy, my youngest, has a fever and feels crappy so we have her dr appointment in an hour. Then she gets to be dragged along to Morgan’s, my oldest, track meet. If she tests negative for the flu I gave her the option of going to school, which she loves, or coming with me and she chose the track meet. We will just stay in the car most of the day and watch Morgan’s events from the fence. There are rarely any parents there so we shouldn’t come into contact with anyone other than Morgan.

Morgan insisted Macy sleep with her the other night so she’s already exposed to whatever this is. Morgan has no symptoms and her team needs her so she’s gotta go. McKenzie, my middle, is my sicky child who gets everything. She’s avoiding Macy mostly just in case.

Shake and snickers are a yummy reason. It's cold and allergy season. My SO knows better than to open the windows ever. LOL I hope you Macy test negative and gets to feeling better.

Please be careful. If someone has flu like symptoms, it’d be best to assume they have CV until tests are returned. There are thousands more people that have this than have been confirmed and it’s spreading exponentially. The faster it spreads, the faster we’ll all be confined to our homes. It’s happening in Washington, it happened in Italy and China. Please take all precautions.

Thank you L2E. Better to be cautious and take precautions. I didn't think about CV instead of the flu.

Our dr said 0 chance of corona virus. Her lungs are completely clear and her cough is due to her drainage. The flu test came back negative too. Dr said her best guess is a mild flu like virus but not flu, CV or respiratory infection. She said it’s fine to come to the track meet as long as we avoid the kids. Very few adults here. We’ve been staying in the car resting/playing mostly. For events we are staying off to one end by ourselves. The only people she’s been close to since she started feeling bad has been us, her sisters, the dr and the nurse. We live in a rural area that hasn’t seen any cases of the corona virus yet. That being said, I’m still not going to the store much, keeping to ourselves and wash wash washing hands!

That’s great news. I wouldn’t count on knowing there are cases near you until it’s been in your community a while.
