What time is the best time to weigh myself? Again, today it’s the same, but yesterday afternoon it was down 2.5 pounds. I have been under the recommended calorie intake but no weight loss. Also, I have been moving around, exercising and I am confused.

I generally weigh myself in the morning when I get up. The thing is to weigh yourself the same time every day. For me, the thing that makes the difference, more than fewer food calories, is pushing myself on the exercise. I'm an old ;-) so my exercise is walking, but I've worked my way up from a slow half mile a day to between 2.5 and 4.5 miles three days a week. I also stopped drinking almost completely. That actually was a biggie. When I stick to it, I can lose a couple pounds a week. Although folks on here swear by one diet or another, for me it was trial and error - what worked and what I could live with/stick to. Good luck!

I try to weigh myself about the same time in the morning before I eat breakfast. I log every bite that goes into my mouth, and I measure in grams (more accurate than oz). Due to health issues, I'm not physically active. I've lost almost 60 pounds since March eating 1500-1600 calories per day. I count calories and have no food restrictions just so I got them into my RDI (recommended daily intake). Good luck on your journey!

I think 'whenever' you choose, be consistent. 9am works for me. I've also found I weigh 1-2lbs more at 6am. Not sure why.

I do it first thing in the morning. But whenever you do it I would say do it the same time and do over do it. Don't weigh yourself everyday. I am no expert at all.

I’m going to weigh in around 9am because I seem to be heavier right when I wake up. Thank you
