This has not been a good week for weight loss. Mom made the most delicious breaded boneless pork chops, but they were huge. We could eat only half a chop with asparagus, rice, and salad. She also bought a Winn Dixie cherry pie, knowing how much I love those things even though I had begged her not to. We each ate a small piece with vanilla ice cream. The portions were not too excessive, but we shouldn't have had dessert.

I can't leave my desk today to exercise bc of so much work. It's our anniversary too and I feel overwhelmed and depressed. At least the weather is nice. Still in a drought, but it's breezy and in the 60s this morning for the first time in ages.

Last night we got to see the baby squirrel my niece rescued. He is adorable. Has to be fed a puppy milk formula every 4 hours. They are hoping to find a wildlife rehabber to adopt him.

1pm: I made time for the gym today! Only 30-40 minutes but that's not bad. I went as fast as I could for 20 minutes on the elliptical and I feel better.
197.4 lb Lost so far: 14.6 lb.    Still to go: 47.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
