I started South Beach today, and luckily, my husband and another good friend are doing it as well. I need the help at home mostly, if my family is on another diet, or none at all, it is so hard to plan and prepare 2 different meals. Plus, I hate to exercise, but need to get over that, right?
190.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 50.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Good for you for starting Best of luck. Remember start out slow on working out and build into it that way you don't get hurt or annoyed

I spent the first 2 months of SBD not working out, and I still lost 15 lbs in that time. (I also had a weekly cheat like milkshakes or breadsticks.) After some time you'll find yourself wanting to work out. You'll either want to boost your weight loss, want to tone up what's left after you loose, or you'll just have so much excess energy that you just want to work off. A fitness routine, just like a diet, is something you have to want to do. If you feel like you have to do it, you'll make up ever more inventive excuses to avoid it. Good luck to you, having family and friends 'on the Beach' with you is one of the biggest blessings you could ask for.
