So EOM yeterday didn't get to work out, but I did work in the yard for 1/2 an hour taking down all the Halloween stuff and I worked up a nice sweet. Then the daughter and I went to the movies and afterward we strolled around the mall some. Then Hubby met us and we walked around, and as suspected he wanted to eat chinese. So I had broccoli with beef and vegeetables and no rice. He ordered appetizer of pot stickers and shrimp rangoon (I love the rangoon) but I did not eat either. I had a lot of water to help off set the sodium and no weight change this morning which makes me happy...I was a bit concerned.

Hockey is tonight and I can eat a hamburger patty and will have a meat packed snack before hand. He does come home early today we have a vet appointment for our beloved pit bull Lucy.

We adopted her from the Humane Society and she had had surgery to remove lumps. They told us not cancerous but they came back and come to find out they are. So we have had surgery on her in March (vet said this is an aggressive cancer and will not go away). We take her now because the lumps he could not get are bigger and we will see if sugery is possible. It is a fine line. Obviously we do not think it is beneficial for her life to keep putting her through surgeries. However, after 7 months it seems like theother lumps may not be back so if he can get them all each time then MAYBE. I will be praying for her..she is such an exceptional dog and a rare gem indeed.

Add on....Wow what a crazy busy day! Due to the appointment this afternoon I know I won't get to the elliptical. I did get 12 minutes in my break...not a lot but better than nothing. We will stroll around some at the arena tonight and going shopping so will get some walking in at the mall.

So sorry to hear about your fur baby. We have lost 4 of our babies to a form of cancer over the years. It's a hard thing to deal w/and it's never an easy choice to make. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Thank you Mrs. H. It is really hard. I am praying that the news will be good and the vet will say that the other tumors are not back and that he can get the remainder. The last surgery was so aggressive and intense that he was even worried to go any further down her hip and leg to get the balance. He was very pleased at how well she healed up so I am going to think positive. It has been 7 months since her last surgery and obviously we do not want her to live life having to go through surgery every 6 or 7 months and that is selfish of us. I am going to be positive and think good thoughts...she is such a sweet girl and really the most loving well behaved baby.

I'm sorry about your Lucy♥ Hopefully if she has one more surgery that will be it and no more tumors will show up. I just got back on here, so trying to catch up with buddies that are still around.
