Slow and steady wins the race, right? I've been doing weights and cardio at the gym, with the weights being light and high reps *hopefully* for some tone.

I'm already working on strategies for the impending holidays, because while I adore my family, I know that they love to eat (as do I) and I need to be mindful. I'm hoping to be able to serve myself, and to grab a smaller plate if possible.

Happy Wednesday!

Tone would come faster with lower reps. 8-12. Challenge the muscles. And yes, slow and steady is best. :)

I second the recommendation for low reps. More muscle=>higher metabolism=>easier weight loss
